Just a couple more comments on the movie: 1. I don't know if everyone saw the same commercials during the broadcast as I did, but there some crass but funny ones. Shortly before KC was nuked, there was an Atari (or some other video game company) commercial advertising some "space invaders" (I think) type of game. Things were being happily blasted and blown away. I commented to my wife that this was ABC's way of preparing us for the nuclear blast. 2. Another crass but funny commercial occurred after the movie. It was from a home computer company (can't remember which one) and it had a video game player interviewing for a computer job. The interviewer was reading off the kid's (who had a silly grin on his face) resume, making remarks like "I see that you've killed 4 zillion so-and-so's from the planet Mongo" or whatever. I guess this was ABC's way of letting us know how many people would die from a nuclear war, given that the movie did not tell us any casualty counts. Scott Pector (P.S. I hope somebody reads my other 200 line article since it took enough time to write; besides, it's pretty good!)
