This isn't strictly dealing with the movie DA, but it is relevent --
The book above is about the aftermath of a nuke, chemical, and biological
warfare around the globe. The bulk of the book is an Israeli-US attempt
to rescue the US Prez from Texas (which seceeded after the war) where
he was kidnapped.
The way war occured was the part that worried me. The IRA put acid into
England's water. The people wnet nuts, including the generals who thought
it would be a good idea to nuke Ireland (China, and South Africa while they
were at it). Because of the drugs, the people didn't act rationally. If
we have to bank on acting OK, how do we prevent this from happening?
Anyway, alliances were used -- the US and USSR were allies! All the
countries were at war except for Israel. Israeli soldiers became
mercenaries for the other countries. The US and Texas both hired them.
