At last, this newsgroup got off the ground! Does anyone out there have
German (Jewish) roots? My paternal grandparents came to this country in
1937 from Germany, and about 10 years ago my grandfather wrote the history
of his family, which traces some of his ancestors back to the 1600's. I
guess I'll be re-reading it, now that we have this newsgroup.

p.s. Is anyone's surname "Hope" or "Feitelberg"?
