My dear colleagues and friends: I am posting this message now in the hopes that it will reach most of you before you leave for the holidays. It is with sincere regret that I must say "farewell" to all of you out there on this global network of ours. As of January 7, 1985, systems "abnjh," and "abnji" will be taken off the net. I've enjoyed sharing a variety of opinions and discussions with you: personal, professional, and recreational. I do not know if our systems will be re-connected to the net in the future, but if not; Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukkah, a Happy and Healthy New Year to you all!
