Greetings:
My current research is centered on the Utica, New York area in the
years 1810 - 1820 and the Chester, Vermont area in the years 1760 - 1790.
In Utica, I am looking for information about the Thomas Lane family.
In Chester, I am looking for info on the Hosmer family.
I have extensive information about the descendants of these people
but I lack knowledge about thier origins. I post this in the hope that
someone else might be able to connect.
As an aside, I have spent the last three years developing software
for use in genealogical research. Would be interested in talking to
those who have applied 'expert systems' to the same end.
