---- Anyone out there in the Syracuse area interested in stomping through an old cemetery (one of my favorite pass-times)? I have reason to suspect that one of my (probable) ancestors is buried in the Morgan Cemetery in Clay, just north of Syracuse. I stopped in Clay on a recent trip and went through a cemetery, but found out later it wasn't the Morgan Cemetery. Apparently the Morgan Cemetery is located on Wetzel Road near Morgan (Rd.?). The ancestor is Andrew Loop (1764 - ca 1856), but I would be interested in any stone for any Loop in the cemetery. His wife was Anna (Hooker) Loop (1781 - ?). I doubt that the Morgan Cemetery is a very big one. In return for your assistance I could offer equivalent research in the New England Historic Genealogical Society Library, the New Hampshire Historical Society Library, the Federal Census Archives in Waltham, Mass., or cemeteries in the southern New Hampshire or northern Massachusetts area. One other possible place where he might be buried is "Brown's Corners", NY. I have no idea where or what "Brown's Corners" is. Does anyone out there know? It could be a cemetery, a town, a crossroads, or ...? Vick Bennison ...decvax!decwrl!rhea!tools!bennison (603) 881-2156
