---- Denise, Everton Publishers is the premier genealogical publishing company in the country (probably the world). I think that you can be reasonably sure that if they publish something, that it will be useful to someone. The only question is whether it will be useful to you. They sell several introductory books that would be very useful to beginners, but not to experienced researchers. You are always taking a chance when you order books of records, because there is always a good chance that none of the records will pertain to your family. It's usually better to search these at libraries. If you don't live near a genealogical library, there is the possibility of interlibrary loan. Also, the New England Historic Genealogical Society has an extensive mail book loan program for its members, and perhaps other societies do as well. I, myself, would probably look around for the book in libraries I have access to. Then if I couldn't find it, I might order it with the thought of donating it to one of the libraries that didn't have it, assuming it turned out to be something I couldn't use.
