Mystery solved! Had been wondering why I started getting telephone calls on my voice line until a kindly soul stayed on the line long enough to tell me he was looking for ROOTs. The correct telephone for ROOTS-BBS is (415)-584-0697. repeat (415)-584-0697. Thats 8/n/1/ 300/1200 24 hours. Sorry that some of us tried the bad number and didnt get through. Even sorrier that I got those phone calls in the early AM.
