Charles Frost - we have a common ancestor in the Goodell family. You have it spelled Goodale. Robert Goodale who you have bca 1604 is my ancestor 10 generations back. Find "A Genealogy of the Descendants of Robert Goodale/Goodell of Salem Mass", Geo E. Williams, West Hartford CN, 1984. You will find more details. Robert Goodell m Joan Artys and had five children: Mary bp 14 Mar 1590, William bp 21 Nov 1596, Ann bp 16 Sep 1599, Robert bp 16 Aug 1601, and Elizabeth bp 11 Oct 1607. You and I are descended from Robert bp in 1601. He married twice - we are from the first wife's issue. He married 1) Catherine Kilham of Denningham, Suffolk, Eng about 1628/9. She bc 1606. They had eight children: Mary, Abraham, Isaac, Nehemiah, Sarah, Zechariah, Jacob, and Hannan. Our Robert, his wife Catherine and the children Mary, Abraham, and Isaac sailed from Ipswich, Suffolk Co, 30 Apr 1634 in "Elizabeth", Wm Andrews, Captain.
