A complete list of all active net, fa, and mod newsgroups
is posted to net.news.group on the 1st and 15th of each 
month.  Aside from listing groups, the list also briefly
describes each one.

PLEASE, if you are a newcomer or if you are looking for a
group or if you are proposing to create a group, check this
list first to see if something on it suits your needs.
