[net.announce] moderated newsgroups created

Several moderated newsgroups have recently been created, and activity
in them will begin shortly or has already begun.  Briefly, the list of
groups created to date is:
	net.announce
	net.announce.newusers
	mod.std.c
	mod.std.mumps
	mod.sources
	mod.singles
	mod.music
	mod.movies
	mod.unix
	mod.motss
	mod.newslists
	mod.map.news
	mod.map.uucp

For more information, see article <432@cbosgd.UUCP> in net.news.group,
titled "moderated newsgroups created."  There is also some discussion
taking place in that newsgroup, all of it in anticipation of the
moderated newsgroups.
