The 1985 Certificate in Computer Programming Examinations have been
scheduled for May 11 and December 7 at test centers worldwide. This
examination is administered by the Institute for the Certification of
Computer Professionals, a non-profit organization established in 1973.
Member societies in the ICCP now include ACM, AEDS, AICCP, A1A, ASM, CIPS,
DPMA, IEEE/CS, and OASI.
The CCP Examination is intended for senior-level programmers. All examinees
are tested in these five areas:
Data and File Organization
Principles and Techniques of Programming
Interaction with Hardware and Software
Interaction with People
Associated Techniques
In addition, each examinee chooses one of the following specializations:
Business Programming
Scientific Programming
Systems Programming
