The new Usenet directory has been posted to mod.map.news. To date, there are 1195 Usenet sites. This will be the last posting of the Usenet directory. Over the next month or so, the Usenet directory will be combined with the UUCP map. It is hoped that a continuous, regular posting of the UUCP map will begin sometime in April. Please continue to send all updates to your news connections, and updates to the news contact person (if it differs from the UUCP contact person), to cbosgd!map. All updates that were sent after March 1, 1985 will be incorporated into the Usenet directory before it is merged with the UUCP map. As usual, all UUCP updates should be sent to cbosgd!uucpmap.
