I've been interested in what lab automation tools are being used by professionals in different occupations around the net and whether these tools are deemed adequate by their users. Please take a few moments and answer these questions about your tool set. I'll compile and post the results to the net. Just fill in your answers beneath the questions. 1. Enter your engineering specialty (i.e. computer science, electrical engineering, etc.) 1.1 If involved in hardware design, is your design work primarily analog or digital? 2. Specify your functional area (i.e. R&D, marketing, etc.) 3. Primary computer used FOR DESIGN WORK (not just reading news) Name manufacturer and model. 3.1 Is this computer shared or do you have sole use? 3.2 Specify operating system(s) used. 3.3 If this computer is multi-user, how many people regularly use this resource? 4.
