I've approved five calls for papers and partipation in the past week. I don't mind posting these, but I also worry about net.announce becoming a group mainly used for such calls. The last time I took a poll, the net was strongly in favor of keeping this sort of message in net.announce. I'm not making any policy changes currently, but if you would prefer to see them put into a different group, or you would prefer to see them kept here, let me know. If you advocate a change, please suggest whether the group should be moderated, and suggest a name for the group. If you have other ideas, suggest them too. By mail, only, please.
