I recently posed a problem equivalent to this: Does there exist
a word of 5 or more letters in alphabetical order which is also a
word when spelled backwards?
I've found a 5-letter solution. Incidently, I did not
use on-line dictionaries and software tools, yet the local version
of spell accepts the word and its reversal. If there is interest
within net.puzzle in this type of word problem (judging by the mail
I receive), I'll post my solution along with any others I receive.
