A week later, two of the three peopele returned to the hotel and got the same room. The clerk again charged $30 and again after realizing the mistake, gave the bellboy $5 to take to the room. This time, the bell boy gave each of them $1 back and kept the remaining $3. Therefore, each person paid $14 for the room, and the bell boy kept $3, totalling $31.
