I can think of two countries whose flags are different when viewed
from the front or back. France, front is red, white and blue and
the back is blue white and red. The other country is US.
At least Canada got it right. :-)

Saudi Arabia. The front has a verse from the q'aran and the back is blank.

Actually, you've got it backwards. When viewed from the front the french tricolour is bleu, blanc, rouge. -Ron

One of the South American countries, Bolivia I believe, has one thing on the front of the flag and something entirely different on the back.

This one came to mind as I stared misty-eyed at the new AT&T flag,
with the big "death-star" and our name, only with the wind
direction as it was I was looking at the reverse, so it read
"T<backwards&>TA". Most national flags have their reverse as a
reflection of the front, though some may stitch an insignia on
so that back and front are identical. (More common for states.)
Name the one country whose flag does neither of the above, so
that the back and front are actually different.

How about the flags of Australia, New Zealand, USSR, Pakistan, Malaysia - they all look different when viewed from the back.

A lot of folks have pointed out that most flags look different
from the back. My query, however, *SPECIFICALLY* excluded
reflections. These are not truly different. "Different" means
not identical and not reflection. I was asking for the national
flag whose one side is *DIFFERENT* from the other. I still am.
