another sequence puzzle:
What is the next number of this sequence ?
1, 1, 1, 2, 1, ???

1,1,1,2,1??

This can be continued 1,1,2,1,1,1,2,1,....
with an occasional glitch, where a 2 becomes a 1.  This is the
number of days in a year, modulo 7.

This is the number of chimes struck by a clock that chimes the hours
and once on the half hour, starting at 12:30, and followed by 1:00, 
1:30, 2:00, 2:30.  Therefore the next numbers in the sequence are
3, 1, 4, 1, etc.

Haven't we seen this here recently?

Correct! As for its prior appearance, I couldn't say. I've been on
the net since only 20 APR, but I did research back to note #1 before
