<gobble> Is there a standard utility for rotating the alphabet? A lot of these messages are 'ROT 13' or something of the sort. It's possible to decode by hand (tedious), or to write a rotation routine myself (only useful for net.puzzle decription). Why not use 'crypt' with 'SPOILER' as the keyword? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ J.L. Giles ...!cmcl2!lanl-a!jlg

If you are using readnews, you can just hit <D> instead of <CR>. As described on the man page, this decrypts a message that is ROT13, like just about everything is. Tom Haapanen {allegra,decvax,ihnp4}!watmath!watdcsu!haapanen
