The original question was which letters on the left match which cities on the right and why? (At least this is what I meant.) Well, they all have Federal Reserve banks and produce bills with these letters on them. Here's how they match: A Boston, MA B New York, NY C Philadelphia, PA D Cleveland, OH E Richmond, VA F Atlanta, GA G Chicago, IL J Kansas City, MO L San Francisco, CA I have been told from several people on the net that other cities and letters belong in the above list, too. I know that. But I didn't have any bills in my wallet from those cities. I still don't. So far i have been told that H is definitely St. Louis, MO and K is definitely Dallas, TX. I have also ben told there are Federal Reserve banks in Minneapolis, MN, Denver, CO and Indianapolis, IN. Now I've never seen a bill from Indianapolis before so this was a real surprise. I think maybe its a surprise to the Federal Reserve bank system too. Is there really a F.R. bank in Indy or is someone just making lousy counterfeits? And I thought Denver only made pennies. If the letters were assigned alphabetically east to west, then why is Cleveland, OH letter 'D' and Richmond, VA letter 'E'?
