This is a twenty (or how many ever it takes) question puzzle; i.e.
you ask twenty true/false (yes/no) questions within which you must
figure the solution.
Here it is:
There is a man who lives on the 23rd floor of a 25 story building.
On Monday he prepares for work, puts on an overcoat, and a hat, and
gets into the elevator to go to the first floor; he then goes to work.
When he returns in the evening, he takes the elevator to the 16th floor
and uses the stairs for the remaining seven floors.
On the next day he prepares for work, puts on an overcoat, and a hat,
and grabs an umberella because it is raining, gets into the elevator to
go to the first floor; he then goes to work. When he returns in the
evening, he takes the elevator to the 23rd floor, and goes directly to
his apartment.
Why does he perform this peculiar act.
Direct all questions to me (jtang@ucbcory.ARPA) and I will respond as
soon as I receive your mail. I will post question/answers on a regular
basis. If you know the answer (or are able to figure it out) please do
not post it as it will spoil it for the rest of the netters.
Good Luck !!
