by 1 August so the schedule is organized. If you wish to negotiate verbally,
call Randy Bush at (503) 267-6970 or via Debbie Smith (see below). If you will
need special audio-visual equipment, please tell Debbie. If you wish your
paper published in Modula-2 News, the Editor must receive it by 15 September.
Suggested topics include: exciting new implementations, real world uses,
standardization issues and progress... It may be possible to arrange
demonstration space for a few interesting systems if it is negotiated well in
advance.
Lodging will be available on the grounds, and meeting space for up to 100
persons will be provided. Meals and lodging are $50 per day per person double
occupancy, and $57.50 for single occupancy. Meals will be served to all
attendees; therefore, to attend, non-lodgers must pay $24 per day to cover
meals and meeting space. Pre-registration forms will be posted in June.
Pre-pre-registration and early arrangements may be made with Debbie Smith at
the above address or call her at (415) 322-0547. Modus may have to impose a
registration fee of $10 or so if significant organizational costs are incurred.
Early September was thought to be convenient for those on holiday and for those
who must be back in at school in October. Tell your friendly local Modulans
and please plan to come even if you are not willing to make a presentation.
