We are developing software to run on Unix v7/68000 machines. Our development is done BOTH on the target system and on VAXen running Unix 4.2BSD. Some of the code is tested on the VAX. We would like to use Modula-2. This means that we need the following: 1. A Modula-2 compiler that runs on our VAX and generates VAX code. 2. A Modula-2 compiler that runs on our VAX and generates 68000 code. 3. A Modula-2 compiler that runs on our 68000 and generates 68000 code. All three compilers must be able to accept the exact same source code. Incompatible extensions and compile-time options would seem the most likely problems. If you know of a compiler that exists in any or, hopefully, all of the above variants we would appreciate some pointers. ======================================== Preston L.
