We are looking for purchasing this compiler for use on VAX/VMS
clusters. Anyone know about the US Representatives for these
people. How does one get into telephone contact with them?
Please respond early, it is urgent.

Any reviews of the above compiler(s)/alternate recommendations
or experiences also welcome.

Deepak.

A couple of remarks here:

(1) The Hamburg address is:
	Fachbereich Informatik
	Universitaet Hamburg
	Schlueterstr. 70
	D-2000 Hamburg 13
	Federal Republic of Germany

(2) Unfortunately, the DBPL project group -- led by Prof. Jochen Schmidt --
has moved to the University of Frankfurt, so I don't know if Hamburg is
is still distributing the VAX/VMS Modula-2 compiler.

(3) As far as I know, the Hamburg VAX/VMS compiler is available either via
Logitech and/or Springer Verlag. I am not sure you can get the source
code from either of the two, though. Logitech's address is
	Logitech Inc.
	805 Veterans Blvd
	Redwood City, CA 94???

(4) The compiler is a derivative of the 5-pass compiler for the PDP-11
developed at ETH Zurich. The code generation has been changed to
    generate native VAX code.

I believe he's still distributing this compiler from Frankfurt; that's
where we got our's from . . . .
