Someone created this group about two weeks ago, but there has been no activity so I'll go first. I am interested in learning how to do my own veneering. If anyone can offer any good sources of information please let me know. Thanks Jim Roche Computer Consoles Inc. seismo!rochester!ritcv!ccieng5!jjr

There are several excellent reference works on veneering, both press and hammer (had) type. You should subscribe to one one of the catelogs of the fine tool houses: Woodcraft Supply Corp, Woburn, MA; Constantine and Son, New York, NY; etc. THese carry all the books on woodworking you will ever need, including veneering and the veneers, too (Constantine is a specialist in veneers). Also the catelogs are fun to read, but the tools are expensive and if you are bitten by the woodworking bug, you may lose a few bucks. ---Cheers Ed Lafferty MITRE Corp. <linus!ell>
