I have been using mine a little and if you feed the work on the wrong side it will pull the work and may jerk it out of your hand or pull finger(s) into the cutter. At least one rec.wood reader is minus part of a finger from a similar mishap. One of the more important rules in using powered cutters is feed against the direction of the cutter. This tool cuts smooth and could lure you into carelessness. For best use with a drill press one needs either an easily adjustable table height (mine has crank and rack gear) or a positive lock on the quill travel. An extension table with an adjustable fence is important too. The instructions that came with the unit has plans for some home-made accessaries that seem almost essential for safe, accurate use of this tool.
