[eat it and beat it!! bug]

Lately, for about the last year, I have been seeing advertisements about
vacuum powered finishing sanders. They look light-weight and the ads say they
are dustless. Although, I imagine, it might be a hassle dragging a vacuum
hose around behind the sander all of the time. Anyway, I was wondering
if anyone has beed sucked in to buying one of these gadgets.(pun) And if
so, how does it compare to, say, a makita or any other high quality palm
sander? Any other information/tips about this would be appreciated.

Oh, by the way, I have a B&D finishing sander with about a 4X6 inch footprint
and it dosn't work worth beans, a cabinet scraper works much better.

As usual, I will post a summary of the responses back to the net.

Thanks,
