[net.rec.wood] wanted: leads to non-power woodworking

sharpe@drivax.UUCP (Andrew Sharpe) (11/27/84)

<gulp>

I posted this a while ago, but got NO response. So, maybe it didn't
get out. Sorry to anyone who has already seen this.

I am interested in some beginning books on wood-working. I don't
really want to get into power stuff ( i.e. band saws, circular
saws, automatic sanders/dishwashers (:-) ); I would like to work
with the basics. My basic premise is that I should be able to get
some VERY fine quality hand tools for less money than a complete
woodworking shop with electrical gear. I realize that it is a lot
more work to do it by hand, but I think that I would have more pride
if I did it by hand. Please mail responses to me. As nettiquette
dictates, if I get enough responses, I will post them.

			Thanks in advance,
					Andrew
