A note here talked about brushing polyurethane. Using the a good bristle brush was noted as producing the best results. What about spraying polyurethane? I've had really good results spraying lacquer and polyurethane. Would brushing really be better? Am I brushing things on wrong? -- ---------------- Marty Sasaki net: sasaki@harvard.{arpa,uucp} Havard University Science Center phone: 617-495-1270 One Oxford Street Cambridge, MA 02138

Am I brushing >things on wrong? > I have had good results with a bristle brush applying lacquer and poly- urethane. I wish I could afford a compressor and air-brush as that would probably give me even better results with a much reduced application time- especially for some of the more 'complex' shapes I've made. Does anyone have tips (or pointers to tips) on achieving the 'perfect' finish? e-mail to me; I will summarize to the net (given suficient responses) Bruce Bergmann {ihnp4}!hplabs!hpfcla!bruce surface: Hewlett-Packard Co. 3400 E.
