I finally convinced my wife that I could do magical things with a dado blade on my Shopsmith table saw. What I need to know now is who makes a good blade, what types are there, and what types are the best. I know it is more considerate to use direct email, but I think that this would warrent an open discussion. Thanks in advance Brad Foss DEST Corp, Milpitas CA

Freud makes some good blades, at $120 for a dado, it better be! I got
my dado at Furrows, a lumber/hardware store. I paid $13, it is not
good looking nor does it have carbide tips but it does the job. The one
I got is a 6" but there are 8" available. I use it on my old table saw
instead of the Shopsmith, my table saw has a very large steel top and is
about 5" lower than the Shopsmith. Makes it easier on me, I'm 5'7".
