the sears saw. It performed remarkably well as did the comparable Rockwell. I have noticed that most of the craftsmen at our local craft shows use the sears saw and do some beautiful work. I was so impressed that I have long considered getting rid of my Delta 14" bandsaw because it did not handle the thinner blades as well as I hoped it would. I have recently purchased an Inca 20", three wheel, bandsaw and think it is the greatest thing since peanutbutter!!! This is not an inexpensive saw, but it handles blades from 1/16th inch to 1 inch with ease! I have scrolled through 8 inches of hard maple and oak with the 1/16th inch blade with ease and accuracy....truely an amazing feat!! With the 1/2 inch blade, I can resaw hardwoods quickly and accurately for use in constructing small boxes and projects. The 1 1/2 hp motor really makes this saw a pleasure to operate. I was able to get a good price on this saw by getting two other club members to purchase saws at the same time.
