After careful consideration of several comments made regarding the nature
and style of my recent postings, I have gone back and perused them. I can
only concur that I have waxed silly, illogical and downright nasty.
I have been very depressed of late, and I unfortunately sometimes become
extremely bitchy when I am depressed. I apologize to everyone for not having
recognized that I had reached this state. It is not my intention to become
the raving lunatic of the net.
I am, therefore, going to withdraw from active participation in the net.
I will continue to read the *.sources and related topics, and the net.news.*
groups, in order to keep up with important happenings. The only way I can be
sure of not posting in other areas is simply not to read them.
I will be gone as long as is necessary to resolve my current difficulties.
Anyone who would like to correspond with me, please feel free to do so by
mail.
To those individuals whom I may have offended by my language or confrontative
approach, I apologize. To those whom I directly offended by name calling,
innuendo or character assasination, I apologize deeply.
The net is a valuable and viable resource. I hope that we can all do what
we are capable of doing to insure its continued existence. I am doing what I
can by withdrawing, until I can be sure that my behaviour is more appropriate.
