[net.misc] Tell me I didn't hear this!!!

On April 2nd I posted an article with the above title.  It was talking
about something I'd heard on NPR's Morning Edition the day before.
That Rupert Murdoch (Thank you oddjob!Rupert.Murdoch for telling me
your name :-)) had bought NPR for tax purposes.

It's amazing the response I've gotten.  People chiding me for believing
such a silly story on April 1st.  Like they don't belive I can read
the calendar or something.

My posting was meant to be a "satire" on the posting a few weeks ago
about the guy with the magnetically driven engine.  And all the traffic
that posting generated.

I guess the "joke" was a little too obtuse for some people.  I'm glad
though that a fair number of people caught on to my sarcasm.

Thank you all for some interesting mail.  It's been a constructive lesson.
