In the last (not the current) NEW YORK NATIVE, there's a report by Dr. James D'Eramo on (increasing?) overt homophobia concerning AIDS in even prestigious scientific & medical journals. The offending publications include (believe it or not) NATURE, The New England Journal of Medicine, & I believe the AAAS's SCIENCE, among others.
