Anywhere that I have been where there were more than a handful of gay men (eg. bars, dances) the air has been unbreathable. This is because about 90 per cent were smoking. (50 percent is about what I have heard is the percentage in the population at large.) I have two questions: 1. Is the percentage of smokers among gay men really much higher than among straight men, or is my observation *entirely* the result of a biased sample? 2. If gay men really do smoke in larger numbers, why? David Canzi "Solving Today's Problems Tomorrow"
