I really don't know what the significance of wearing an earring
in either ear is. However, the explanation Ann provided doesn't
hold up in some cases. I have friends and have known men who wear
an earring in both ears. I suppose these people, according to Ann,
have split personalities. One personality submissive, and one
dominating. :-). Actually, I think Ann must be drawing her information
from the basis of the old handkerchief-in-the-back-pocket means
of signaling to a prospective pick-up (friend, mate, trick, or
what have you). Wearing the handkercheif in the left pocket signifies
domination, in the right submissivness. The color of the cloth
also tells the person what you like to do in terms of intimacy.
Now a days, there is a much better way of telling all of this -
it's called your voice. But some people still hold onto this practice
of wearing the handkerchief.
