Well, it's nice to know I'm not forgotten even though I've not
posted anything to this newsgroup for a while.

(i)	How, I repeat, do you know I'm NOT asking a question, and
genuinely seeking some information? I've not gone away,
I'm still here, still reading. And still waiting, probably
vainly. Mostly what I got was flames. The rest consisted
of "Gibbon says so, so it's so". Well, perhaps. Except
that several other people said that history is rubbish,
that it's biased against homosexuals, and therefore probably
suspect. Again, that may be a valid point. But if history
if rubbish, remember that Gibbon is a historian.

(ii)	I doubt if the NAMBLA, etc., groups are being lumped
with homosexual groups for being homosexual groups.
(As you pointed out, they need not be, although as Ken replied,
what is to be made of a group with a name such as MAN/BOY?)
That is, the relevant dimension for understanding this
apparently incongruous juxtaposition is not homosexual/heterosexual.
The relevant dimension in Ken's mind (I'm guessing, of
course), Dave Brunson's mind, and yes, my mind (but perhaps
I'm victorian) is normal/perverse, and to large numbers of
people, such as myself, Dave and (perhaps) Ken, homosexuality
is perverse. I hope you do not consider that statement as
automatically invalidating what I said above in (i).
