Interesting statement about law and legal precedent.  Where does
law come from?  Where did OUR laws come from?  The Baghavad-gita?

Although LAWS may be INSPIRED by personal values including religious
values, JUDICIAL DECISIONS are not (or ought not be) MADE on the
basis of personal values.

Law comes from government.  OUR law comes from OUR government.
Somehow, though, I suspect you had some *other* answer in mind.
