Milo's Dogmatic Reply to ``Reagan's Homophobic Career''________________________

> All this talk about people being born homosexuals is just BS. Its [sic] a
> diliberate [sic] act of choice.

What have you got to prove this with? Nothing, I suspect.

> And as such, its [sic] a violation of God's laws. Period.

Again, what have you got to prove this with?

Getting back to the original subject again, has anyone noticed how many
Republicans and the right-wing press are using issues of homosexuality? The
Democratic Party platform calls for equality and all that stuff, and it's been
used to smear the Democrats.
Southern politics used to involve contests of out-"nigger"ing each
other. Now it looks as if there are contests on to out-"homo" each other!
It's happening in places as diverse as Texas and Massachusetts. (Here in
Massachusetts, homosexual representative Gary Studds' opponent promised not
to make Studds' homosexuality an issue; but he went around saying that he was
the only candidate with a wife!)
The media's getting into the act, too. I recently saw a cartoon from
the Copley News Service that was trying to smear Mondale with what it saw as
the least desirable "special interests." Homosexuals - represented by a mous-
tached man with a dress, purse, and Gay Power button - are, of course, some
of these undesirables.
	Bad news.
