"James J. Lippard" <Lippard@his-phoenix-multics.arpa> (01/26/85)

Last summer in London I picked up a copy of Zee's album "Identity". Zee
is Dave Harris and ex-Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright. The album
is pretty good, though not very Floydian (except for part of one of the
tracks on side two, which is startlingly so). Has anyone else seen this
album here in the states yet? Anybody know what else Dave Harris has
done?

Yeah, Dee Harris was one of the frontspersons for FASHION: Two
albums ...1st eponymous is crypto-dancepunk. THey backed Gina
X (from Deutschland for a while, she makes a vocal appearance on
their second elpee), then hooked up with Krautsprodu:cer Zeus B. Held
and produced their second album (originally one of those "nice price"
jobs, now in cutout). MONSTO Brit dancefloor stuff, lotsa singles,
lotsa nose candy, lotsa ego, lotsa breakup. Great record, though.

Has Dave Harris been in another well-known group, or is he a
solo artist that I just haven't heard of?
