Has anyone had experience with either or both of the currently popular pressurized mechanical paint sprayer and roller systems? How well do they work for interior latex wall paint application? What are the pros and cons of each? Any details are appreciated. MEL ihuxn!tfilm 850503.1215

You drop in the gallon of paint carfully lock the lid on(cause pressure is built up) and flip on the switch. The noise sounds like a jackhammer. Any, and I mean any, leak in the four connections causes ozzzzzzing of paint just where you dont want it.(floor,shoes,kids,etc.) After a half hour of saying "Rear the instructions again, I know were doing it right, Shut up I dont want to here it", the paint emerged victoriously from the roller in a small dot pattern. Encouraged by progress we started to roll the walls. Another half hour later there was enough paint on the roller to cover the roller. To bad it didn't cover the wall. Deciding to use the old standard method, cleaning the hoses and channels was next to impossible. Any paint left inside ofcourse dries inside. I think that you have my opinion of the system.
