I don't remember who you were since your presonal response to my posting regarding "How We Differ From them (straights)" got deleted. You asked me not to post it to the net (would a nice guy like me do a thing like that, nawww!) You don't really have to send another response to me. I just wanted to let you know that I guess what I say doesn't please all the people, all the time. Do I look gay? Yeah, I guess you could say that in a South End Clone kinda way (aka) Castro Clone. The look appears natural on me and is not one I tried to cultivate. I assume you pass for straight; I do too in my mannerisms with straight co-workers and associates. Do I attract attention? Yeah again, mostly from straight women who come on to me at the beach. So big deal; I'm not an exhibitionist but I'm not gonna hide who I am. Will i start attending Red Sox games (the season opened today); Nawwww! probably not. I doubt if I'll start wearing Budweiser Beer T shirts or ball caps to mix in with the Fenway Park crowd either. I was just bringing up a point about subtle ways in which we differ from the other 90%; not all of us, mind you but a lot of us just the same. I do realize that there those in the gay community who cannot afford (for security clearance or other reasons) to be visible; that's fine, I can sympathize with your situations. I wasn't condoning that all gay men start wearing the clone uniform or pink triangles. Geeee I guess that I'm just an unconventional shit stirrer and rebel rouser. Ray
