Classified Ads

Totally unrealted to my posting of yesterday, I'de like to start a
discussion about feasability of meeting new friends via the classified
ads in gay publications. It seems that all you meet in bars are *Bar
Flies* I recently moved into the boston area (Chelsea to be exact) from
beyond the frozen wastelands of outer rural suburbia. Gay social life
whare I came from is so low key, it's almost invisible. My roomate and
I are getting ready to place ads (friendship) in Boston area gay papers.
Anyone have any idea which would be the best to place the ad in? Most
of my old circle of friends moved out of New England while I was in a
relationship (did they know something I didn't?) and I've just started
working on building a new network. I'de also like meeting net.motss
guys who are in the Boston and vicinity areas for socializing. I'm 37,
6', short dark hair, moustache and slim. My interests include; hiking,
cycling, video, audio, reading, cars, writing, entertaining, this thing
with the keys that sits on my desk, etc. If you're interested in getting
