Just wanted to share a funny thing that happened a couple of weeks ago.
I got to meet 3 different net.motss readers totally by coincidence. I was
in one of my rare barhopping moods and started at a local South End bar in
Boston. I was chatting with a guy who happened to work for another computer
firm and the conversation shifter to networks, then to net.motss. He was
kinda surprised when he found out that I was the face behind the Jason post-
ings. We were chatting about the ordeal I had with Dan when who should slith-
er into the bar; Danny boy in the flesh. I had not had the chance to talk to
Dan face to face since the ordeal and basicly laid my cards out. He very
quickly slithered out the door. Oh well enough about Dan, this posting isn't
about reptile mating habits.
I met my roomate at another neighborhood gay bar and started chatting with
a man I found interesting. He too was a computophile and net.motss reader. He
told me that he had all of my articles archived on floppies and thought that
I should get an editor and publish.
The finale was on Sunday when I went into Boston for Tea dance. I stopped
at another South End bar and ran into; you guessed it, another computer person
and net.motss reader. I'm starting to believe that the world is a lot smaller
than I once believed it to be. Bottom line is that it's a good forum for dis-
cussion and a place to meet some nice interesting people; may it live long and
prosper.
