I've been missing a couple days postings of net.motss and just caught the tail end of a discussion regarding my article on bars. I didn't catch the names of the people but I guess one is named Rob. I do agree that stereotyping can be dangerous but was just attempting to zoom in on some types that I feel are mildly amusing/annoying when I go out. It's very easy to take my postings the wrong way unless you've met me face to face as about 15 motss readers have. Since joining the net, I've recieved lit- erally hundreds of personal responses; almost all positive. If I've made a few gay people have a few guffaws and giggles, that's great! If I've made a few people think, that's also good. On the other hand a few of the regular contributors like Ron Rizzo and Steve Dyer have made me think very seriously about topics they've raised. I'll be first to admit that I also fit some of the stereotypes; short dark hair, moustache, punktail, tight faded 501's muscle shirts, etc. I agree that we all exhibit some of the folly that I make light of. If I couldn't laugh at all the looneyness I see around me; including my own, I'de wind up crying. I look forward to meeting ore of you; either by accident or intensionally as time goes by. Regards, Ray (aka) Jason (aka) LaVerne (aka) Hey You!
