Hey Ken, I have news for you. The majority of this country does not give a flying fig about anything but what directly affects their personal lifes. All this ranting and raving over the the rights of the Majority is avoiding the fact that most people don't give a damn about what anyone else is doing unless it involves them. Most people in America today are amoral. Even if you were right about the majority of Americans having morals against homosexuality, does not make anti-homsexuality right, just like the fact that most of the citizens of ancient Athens and Sparta were homosexual men does not make homosexuality morally right. You should be glad you were born in 20th Century USA and not in ancient Sparta where you would have been forced by the majority to engage in homosexual acts. In the USA today you are allowed the freedom to conduct your sex life as you deem fit barring acts of rape and bestiality. Keep Chargin' (but don't complain if you can't pay your American Express bill), -- Jeff Fields {ucbvax,ihnp4,decvax}!trwrb!cadovax!jefff Pax vobiscum.

Whatever the status quo of a society, Ken is sheep enough to accept and hold that position, rugged New Hampshire individualist that he is. In ancient Sparta, he'd have been on the SPARPANET telling everyone how stupid those who didn't hold the status quo position were. And so on... -- Life is complex. It has real and imaginary parts.
