Actually, there was a BIG outbreak of Delta-agent-virus-whatever potentiated super Hepatitis B in Worcester, Mass. last year or so., and all the cases there were intravenous drug users. I haven't been aware that this has been a big problem in the gay community, not the least reason because many gay men have been vaccinated against Hepatitis B. I haven't heard of any gay hepatis B-delta cases, or any significant outbreak beyond the Worcester area. I've read most of the newspaper articles that have appeared on it over the last year or so: the cases are confined to intravenous drug users & their spouses, lovers, etc. It's a heterosexual "epidemic".
