I just finished reading "Daughters of a Coral Dawn" by Catherine Forrester.
Wonderful book. Very anti-men, pro-women. All the descendents of Mother
are female, healthy, strong, and intelligent--leaders in their fields.
They get together and leave. It's a science fiction story, but doesn't
rely heavily on science. A way had been found to reproduce without
sperm (which was, of course, made illegal). The book has few conflicts.
Technically, everything goes smoothly. Most of the conflicts are social/
psychological/personal relationships. There are several very good love
scenes. It makes me want to be a lesbian. I'm overwhelmed.
