Ann Landers' Latest_______________________________________________

Ann Landers tells us that if bisexuals are forced to
choose between MOTOS and MOTSS, they will "invariably" choose
MOTSS.
	Any thoughts on this?

There is no need to posit any asymmetric distribution over
the Kinsey scale. All you have to assume is that in a homophobic
society, few people who rate 3 or less on the scale will even
admit to being bisexual in the first place, since they can get
along reasonably happily as straights.

Puke, puke.

As a bisexual, I am currently happily monogamously engaged to a person
of the opposite sex. If my marriage lasts for the rest of my life, as
I hope and expect that it will, then I will never again be sexual with
a MOTSS. So there!

Yeah. Using Ann Landers as an authority on sexuality, is roughly
equivalent to using Henny Youngman as an authority on neurosurgery.

But the question is an interesting one, especially for people who
have an SO whom is bi. It's been my experience that bisexual means
exactly that, and if your bi-SO is going to chippy on you, it's about
a 50/50 chance, as far as gender is concerned.

Query: Why does everyone put the cutsie quotes at the end of their postings?

Yes, but Landers' claim goes AGAINST this intuition, saying that
Bi-s will go for the Gay option. I misread it the other way too.

She seems to be implying that all bisexuals are REALLY mostly gay, and when
push comes to shove (whatever that means), they drop the pretense.

This probably has some basis in fact (i.e. there are some people
who fit that description), but not any more so than
Per's countervailing phenomenon.

What the hell does Ann Landers know anyway? Any such black and white
statement seems founded in ignorance to begin with.

This only reinforces my opinion of Ann Landers: she's a jerk. Why people
find any worth in what she says is beyond me.
